I have about 14 watches right now and seeing as this is a special watch , I am not too keen on wearing it a lot .
Will it have a problem from staying still for long timer periods ( I keep winders for complicated watches) ? And if the answer is affirmative , once every how many days should I wind it ?

If it's not going to be worn regularly then give it a full wind once a month.

Thanks for the reply . I got the same reply in general for all automatic watches in the same situation . I was just wondering since this is a 2009 model , if the new oils used should supposedly make the movement more tolerant to staying still.

Nope, gravity is gravity regardless of how old the oils are.

Modern oils are a little more resilient to running from where they should be but the laws of physics still apply

What ?!?!?! My watch still obey to the laws of physic ?!?!? What a disgrace , I think I ll return it , such things are unacceptable ! :uplaugh:
By the way , how can I achieve a full wind without a winder ? And the same rule of 1per month applies for manual wind watches or they need something more frequent ?

Pull the crown out one click and give it a turn to wind the mainspring. 40 complete rotations will give you a full wind.

Wanna think about that :?: :poke:

Don't pull out the crown, just wind it 40 times in its against the crown position.
