Hi Folks,

I'm a first timer here but have a Superocean Professional and a Chrono Avenger M1.

I have a problem with the clasp on the superocean and it looks like I'll need a new clasp (don't think it's repairable) - the cheapest security clasps I can find are about £300 and if I take it to Ernest Jones I'm probably looking at £400 to replace.

Does anyone know where I could obtain a clasp and replace it myself or any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Trev

That sounds like an awful lot of money for a clasp only - we are talking Pro I / Pro II right??

What's the exact problem, are you sure that it's not repairable??

Hi,

I took it to a Goldsmiths yesterday and they are sending it off to get a quote but they don't beleive it is repairable, the watch is the 2002 model (not sure what that makes it), it's a dull steel colour. If I could get hold of the whole clasp I could replace it myself but I can't seem to find one anywhere on the net. Any ideas would be appreciated.
