Post subject:  Problem setting time on Breitling Chrono Avenger

Hi,

This is probably user error so thought I would ask here!

I seem to have a problem with my chrono avenger that when I try and set the time the hour hand seems to 'snap' into position as soon as I move the crown to position 1 or 3 and its wrong. What I mean is if its say half past 11 the hour hand should be halfway between 11 and 12 but if I position it there and push the crown in it will either snap to be sitting at close to 11 or close to 12 I just cant get it right and I'm not sure why!

If its not clear I'll post up a video, any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

There is always likely to be some movement as the wheels engage and have to move slightly to get perfect alignment. Yo ucan minimise it by trying to push the crown straight in without twisting, but it's unlikely to be perfect.

I think it needs a service.
None of my watches with Valjoux 7750 movement have that problem.

Would love to hear what you think the problem might be that a service would address.
