As Roff said, the timekeeping of a watch is a good enough indicator of when a service is due. Given the tiny tolerances these watches operate to, all the time it is keeping good time, it's pretty safe to assume that everything inside is
generally OK.
The only thing that might mean a more regular trip for your watch to an AD is if you regularly swim with your watch on. In that case it's worth getting the gaskets checked for water resistancy ideally yearly, or certainly bi-yearly.
