I recently bought a Jordanian airforce 7806 Navitimer fitted with a metal strap (see photos). I was not that fussed about the strap as I intended to fit a leather strap, which I have now done.
However, the strap is in fact just too small for my wrist, which surprised me as I am not endowed with overly large hands/arms.
The strap when fully adjusted to max length would be around 15cms lug to lug. The question is, is the strap a ladies/boys strap, aftermarket or what? Or maybe Jordanian pilots have small wrists?
Appreciate any comments from the experts.
Alan

Not an expert on these, but it looks OK to me, but without any additional links. I assume that the bracelet should be adjustable by adding in extra links on either side of the clasp.

Thanks Roff.
Any idea where I might get hold of extra links?
thanks, Alan

No idea, sorry.

Try PMing vintage (Paul), he knows quite a lot about older straps / bracelets.

I had one a few years ago. I could not see any way of adjusting length/adding to it.

Great mesh though!
