Perfect size is a 1.8mm (Bergeon 180), but as Bergeon don't seem to sell them individually anymore the Bergeon 160 (1.6mm) works fine. |

Driver8 helpfully pointed me in the direction of a guy in Germany that sells the 1.8mm Bergeons. I don't know where you're located but mine arrived fine so I would recommend the seller and he has some more here. Hope that helps, |

Is there a trick to using the screwdriver on the bracelets? I have a new Aerospace that needs sizing. The slot on the screw is very shallow making it very difficult to remove. Should I just visit my AD for sizing? |

Should I just visit my AD for sizing? AD's easier than damaging it! If you have a proper size watchmaker's screwdriver then it's fairly easy, a regular screwdriver won't work very well as it is held differently. |

Horotec do one that's a little more expensive but is also good), a bracelet shortening block (something from the Bergeon 6744 range - they come in plastic or rubber, and for thick and thin bracelets), a pin-punch, a watchmakers hammer, and a pair of long-nose pliers. That should do you. ![]() All in all I reckon you can get kitted out with the essentials for "non-invasive" watch-work for around £60 GBP. |

Thanks for the great information. I totally understand the need to have the RIGHT tool for the job. I work on vintage cars myself at home. Many times there is a specific size and shape that is required to get the job done. I'll be in NYC this weekend and plan on having an AD adjust the bracelet. If they scratch it, it won't be my fault! |
