From Omega I have received a COSC certificate for my Planet Ocean. Can I obtain a similar certificate for my Steelfish?

I'm guessing you bought you Steelfish either used or from a grey market dealer because the COSC certificate is provided if you buy new from an AD.

If you wish to get a replacement COSC certificate you will need to contact Breitling and arrange to send your watch in to them for authenticity verification, and at the same time you can request a new certificate. It costs around £30 GBP (approx $50 USD).

Thanks. I bought my Steelfish ’used’ (from feb. 2008), but it came with all the papers and boxes.
The seller bought it from a store called Little Switzerland (don’t know if it’s an AD or a grey market dealer).

Perhaps I already have the COSC certificate – but if so, then it doesn’t look like the Omega certificate. I’ll have another look :D

The Breitling Chronometer certificate is the single yellow piece of paper that is folded into four. It will have the case serial number in a box in the top right hand corner.

Maybe it is a little bit more expensive for the COSC serificat here in scandinavia. I am just back from my AD and Breitling maintenance senter here in norway and the COSC sert costs 1350 Norwegian kroner (165 euro)(140£)(200$) :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :whiner: :yeahthat

 Wow that IS expensive. A friend of mine ordered one a year or so back from a Chronomat Evo (as it was at the time) and it cost either £30 or £35 GBP.

Not only expensive, that's all mark up.

COSC charges on a few CHF to Breitling to reissue the certificate.
