Post subject:  Colt Transocean

Hi, I have seen for sale a Colt Transocean listed with the following details:

It is finished in polished stainless steel with a sapphire blue face and is in very good condition, there are some marks on the clasp but these are unavoidable, the face & crown are perfect though.
It comes fully boxed in a French Bakelite case with all paperwork & reciept.and had a new battery fitted in February 08.

It is £460 (UK)

I've attached the only picture although I have requested more.

Can any provide more information on this? Good watch or bad? Does it have a sweep second hand?

Any information at all really would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Dan

If it's a quartz movement, it will NOT have a sweeping seconds hand. Only a mechanical (automatic) watch will have a sweeping seconds hand.

Based on the poor quality of the photos, I would assume it's a fake. If you have any more, please post. Be sure to include a photo of the case back if possible! This will help to verify it's authenticity.
