My lume dot at 12 on the bezel of my b1 is discoloured any ideas :?: :?:
Whats best to clean it, i have tried soap and water

If you post pics this will help. I personally have never heard of this problem on anything that is fairly new. Vintage yes but nothing that is relatively new.

Don't have a B1, but shouldn't it have sapphire over the lume?

There has to be some protection because SuperLuminova can be discoloured by water damage (which looks to be the case here).

Maybe the sapphire popped out? Just a guess. Might have to send it to Breitling for a repair - They would most likely replace the bezel.

This is an intersting post as I dont think I ever realized it was saphire over the lume dot. I just thought it was some type of protective coating I guess. Like a finishing coat. Never really thought to much about it. You learn something new everyday I guess, this forum is awesome!
