I recently dropped my ’07 Evolution and severely cracked the crystal, replacement is a must. It seems that the only repair shop that will handle this in Florida is the Swiss Service Center however they will not give me a straight answer on total without plugging up-sale items. Also, the two week turnaround time seems extreme and I believe they send it out. Frankly I am very hesitant to send my watch to a company that refuses to provide a cost estimate, while upon receipt of my jewel they have complete leverage. My question is this, does anybody know the true cost of this repair and can you refer me to a trusted and authorized shop. Any help would be appreciated……Thanks and GO MAGIC!!

The only Breitling authorised repair locations are listed on the Breitling website, which is the Swiss Watch Service place. You can send it to BUSA in CT, which is what I would do - it will take longer, but will be the best job. They'll provide you with an estimate.

From memory the cost for the crystal is around $200 - $250, but Breitling may well recommend a service so that they can check for any less obvious damage. Sapphire crystal is darned strong, and a heck of alot stronger than everything else inside the watch so if the force was enough to damage the crystal there could be other issues.

Juliusz with J.D. Watchworks quoted $238 installed, just sent it to him so we will see how it turns out.
