Hi!

I´m new in forum but I hope that you guys can help me about this.
I have Avenger Skyland and it´s my first chrono.

I can´t stop timer by pressing push button A or reset it zero by pushing button B. It just keeps running.

Is this something that I dont know how to use it or does it seems like failure function by watch and need service?

Are you sure that you are pressing the top button hard enough?

You are moving mechanical parts about in the watch so there is a fair amount of resistance.

The bottom button won't work until after the chrono is stopped.

Yes, because second hand stops when I press A, but small dials keeps running.
When I then press B, small hour and small minute dials resets, but small second dial does not. It just keeps running.

Edit. This is my first mecanical watch so I´m not sure how it should be working. Something tells me that it even cant stop second hand and small second dials at same time and it is working normally....but is it?

There is nothing wrong with it, that's how it's supposed to work. The running seconds (small subdial at the 9 o'clock positon) is always running as long as the watch is wound and the crown is pushed in.

The large seconds hand is the chrono seconds, and should start and stop when you activate the top pusher and reset to 12 o'clock when you activate the bottom pusher (be sure to stop the chrono before you reset it).

The small subdial at the 6 o'clock postion is the chrono hours totalizer and the small subdial at the 12 o'clock postion is the minutes totalizer, both will run when the chrono is started, the minute totalizer will not run in a smooth motion, but will jump ahead by 1 minute every time the chrono (large) second hand makes a complete revolution. Both these subdials should reset to 12 o'clock position when you activate the bottom pusher.

That's because the watch is running PERFECTLY. The small seconds subdial is the running seconds - it always runs because it is the second hand of the watch. Pushing "A" starts the large center second hand and every revolution of that hand causes the minute subdial to tick off a minute. Pressing "A" again stops the chronograph - the "stop watch." Pressing "B" resets the chronograph to zero. All the while the seconds sub at 9 o'clock keeps running - otherwise the watch would not be running at all.

Your watch is fine.

The manual is pretty good at explaining all the functions, and is definitely worth a read if you aren't familiar with mechanical watches - especially regarding use of the quick set date - if you don't know how, and more particularly when, you can do that then you may cause permanent damage.

The manual should provide all you need to know in terms of the basics, and places like this are great for anything else not covered in the manual.

Thanks for asking this, I'm going to get either a Chronomat or an Avenger soon and I had no idea that the large second hand was for the Chronograph. It actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. Got any pics of your Avenger?
