Hi there, I'm new to this forum so here goes.

12 months ago I inherited an Old Navitimer II (SS bracelet) after my dad died. I had a link removed as my wrists are narrower than his. I have adjusted it via the micro adjusters on the clasp and it's now a great fit, however I need to remove a link from south of the face and replace it on the north to bias it correctly. The problem is that one of the blanked off screw heads on the link in question turns when I try to undo the screw on the other side making it impossible to remove the link.

Is this a common problem or is it a job for my AD?

Any help would be appreciated,
Maxo.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

You need two screwdrivers to do it - might be easier to just ask an AD to swap it for you.

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply, I think you're right; it's a job for my AD.

Although there is no slot for an opposing screwdriver - just a flat pin head - I guess they have a tool that can aply enough pressure to stop the pin from turning as the screw is undone.

Thanks anyway and great site.

Maxo.

Oh, sorry, I thought you meant the links that had screws on both sides.

The screws are sealed with loctite so you need to break that seal first, and there are two in each link, but the AD can do it quickly and easily.
