Post subject:  High Polished Bezel

So I plan to give my choronomat evo bezel a high polished look and was wondering about 2 things before I go ahead and do it.

1) The illuminated 'dot' on top of the bezel - Will this be affected during the process?

2) The markers inside the bezel - How should I go about polishing the inside of the bezel markers?

I plan on taking the brushed looked bezel and high polishing it to have the polished/shiny look. Are there any other precautions I should be aware of?

1) Yes, unless you either protect it very well or are very carefull you'll probably affect it. The lume dot is covered by a small piece of crystal. I'm not sure what happens if you polish it right away - if you polish away any AR coating or if you scratch the crystal. I'd probably mask it good and also be very careful not to get too close.

2) Are you talking about the "15", "30", "45", and the markers in between? I guess it comes down to your polishing tool, if it's small enough to go in there. If not, I'd probably leave them unpolished and settle for the polished surface.

My advise ------> Don't touch it! It will NOT look good, trust me I've seen it before.... you can never get the perfect polished look on a previously brushed metal....

Just my 0.02.
