One quick and very effective way to totally kill off the second hand market is to make them non-transferrable.... Lucky for most of us here that indeed they are Transferable:)

There was a lot of debate in the past about the transferability of Rolex warranties. Apparently they are now but have not always been. Ball Watches have a non-transferable warranty, which sucks IMHO.

Doxa are the same. Idiots. But then Doxa are renowned for their "FANTASTIC" customer service.

What do you have to do when buying a used B to have the warranty transfered? I bought a used B a year ago and just sent it in for repair, still under warranty, and they didn't say a word about it. Is that normal?

It's not an issue at all in the UK as AD's never register them unlike in the States. We have no card to fill in to claim a free hat or anything, so warranties over here aren't registered to an individual.

Unless it's an E / EM. They have to be registered with Breitling on change of ownership because of the transmitter.
