what do you guys use to clean off the grime? should i get my hoppe's #9 and little brushes out or just soapy water? anything I don't want to use? thanks!

Discussed many, many times before. Just a soft toothbrush with a little soap / dish soap and water and then rinse with clean water.

Newly applied liquid soap on to old baked on soap is the way to go but rinsing is paramount after............ :)
