I just recently purchased this watch from ebay. I also had this watch posted in the replica forum and was skeptical until I received it. I took it to a Breitling AD today and had a jeweler look at it. After removing the back, the serial numbers actually match. Also, the diamonds are actually genuine. This watch was actually purchased in 07 and had a lot of aftermarket work done. There are a few imperfections we noticed. Above the one oclock marker there is a black spot that can be noticed. Also the dial is not centered perfect if it is looked at very closely. I know most of you would not be caught dead with this watch, but i wanted a Breitling that was a little more flashy. Ok a lot more flashy. I have a Hercules for everyday use and love it. Anyway, the guy that inspected my watch was not the real Breitling expert. The expert was not in today. Is there any chance of sending this watch to BUSA for a servicing? I have been told that BUSA will not touch a watch that has been tampered with. If not, any suggestions for servicing? I would also like to replace the current dial with a SA dial.

Breitling won't touch it, and Breitling won't sell genuine parts to anyone outside of their service network. There is no way to service this watch with genuine Breitling parts.

Thanks Ruff! That is what I was afraid of  Hopefully I can atleast get an expert to oil it properly for me. I should have just purchased a SA from an authorized dealer. I guess we live and learn :poke:
