Just wondering where I should shop for straps, and also find more info on the straps, ie, which ones have clasps, buckles, etc.
I'm interested in all of them - leather, croco, Pro Diver... my closest AD is Tourneau, and they charge full retail for everything. I'm not sure if other dealers typically discount straps.

Where should I start?

Often not as big a discount on straps because the $ margin is relatively low (% margin is the same). You can try George at Govberg and see what he will do, unless you are lucky enough to find a special the grey market online dealers don't generally have very good pricing.

I actually bought my SA from George in December. Is there at least a website with more pics and info on each strap ie, which straps use which closures, general pricing, etc?
Thanks

Well there's always that great resource BreitlingSource

Prices - http://www.breitlingsource.com/pricelis ... rdering=id

Information - http://www.breitlingsource.com/bracelets_straps.shtml

As far as which buckles fit.......

Calf and croc are available with either tang or deplyant, Diver Pro is available with tang, Ocena Racer is available with deployant and Diver Pro II is available with both.

If this is for an SA, then you have the option of checking out the wide variety of 24mm Panerai straps that are out there. I think you'll find a much larger selection and value.

Take a look at paneraisource's list of strap makers. SanDave, Ted Su, Gunny, Greg Stevens, ABP, make some really nice stuff. All kinds of materials and they'll make things to order for you if you want.
