I have a Cockpit with a metal band and I'd like to change to a Diver Pro Band. I bought the tool with the fork to assist with the change but need to know if I have to loosen the screws on the metal band - near the lugs in order to change the band. I know have to switch leather to leather but never had to take off a metal band.

I have searched everywhere but can't figure it out - obviously I am a newbie - Love my Breitling and would love it even more if I can switch out the band.

Please give me guidance....

Thank you so much - just wanted to make sure - I've watched that video but when I saw the screws on the band - I didn't want to fool around unless I was sure. Thank you very much - I'll now proceed. :uplaugh:

If I was you I'd SERIOUSLY consider putting a couple of bits of tape over the lugs when you remove or replace a bracelet or strap. Just a couple of layers can really protect the lugs from scratches should you slip with the tool.

(Slapped wrist for Admin for not doing that in his video! )

Amen on the masking tape. You don't want to gouge the watch.
