I received a a great gift... However, I'm sure what I have. It appears to be steel and gold with a steel and gold UTC band. The watch itself has 81950 and B13047 and the UTC band has B61072 and 5702. It has a white face. The family friend whom gave it to me has passed. He did however have great taste and price was not an issue that concerned him. Any idea what I have?

Thank you the help.

PS it is a little small. Any idea of someone in Philly that might help me with that problem?

Hi and welcome to the forum. You have a rather nice Breitling Chronomat automatic from around the early 1990's with a Stainless steel/ 18k Rouleux bracelet. Steve

Thank you for the warm welcome... Does anyone have any more information about this piece... year, worth and or any other interesting aspect i might want to know. I have been discovering very little about the watch on the internet and thought someone might have some knowledge about this wonderful gift i might find interesting.

Hi Alan.
Do you mean because it's not inappropriate to link another forum in here?

Posting links to other forums provided it's relevant to what is being discussed in a thread (which this example is) is generally OK here. We tend not to be so precious about trying to be pretend that other forums don't exist!

Obviously linking to a forum and saying "go there as that place is better" or something similar that is purely advertsing another forum, will result in it being deleted, but that's about it.

And....it's actually a permanent link posted by the Administration of this site under the Breitling Articles, FAQ and Resources section along with the other fine article concerning the earlier Chronomats and can be found here near the bottom of the page.

Well I certainly don't, Bnewbie, but there are probably a few weird folk out there who might think that!
