I recently purchased a Breitling crosswind, and need help or a link to download the manual to use it. Any one that can help I would appreciate it. thanks david

Well virtually all mechanicals are the same so......

To wind the watch, unscrew the crown (turn it counter clockwise). It will pop out to the first position. You can then wind the watch (turn the crown clockwise). A full wind is around 40 turns.

To set the date, first make sure that the indicated time is not between 8pm and 3am. If it is change the time first (see below). Pull the crown out one notch - the running seconds should still be going and turn the crown to adjust the date - I think anti-clockwise / backwards on the Crosswind (but only one way will work). To make sure that you get am / pm correct I set the date to the day before and then advance time to get to the right time and date.

To set the time pull the crown out to the second stop - the running seconds hand will stop. Do not wind time backwards between an indicated time of 8pm and 3am. Set the time, winding time forwards is safest to the correct time.

When time and date are set, push the crown back in, and then while still pushing it against the case turn it forwards / clockwise to screw it down.
