I own a Nov 2004 Navitimer and the bracelet on it isn't the correct one. I want to buy a correct one, but they ain't cheap new! I'm looking at the following, but think it is either not genuine, or is maybe from a much older Navitimer and not sure if it's a good idea to buy it or not?

In case you can't read them, the codes on the bracelet read as 424A & S2398. My limited knowledge tells me the S2398 means it was made in the 23rd week of 1998? If I look for a Navitimer bracelet anywhere (including on here) they say 423A.

So....

- Is it real?
- Is it the right one for a 2004 Navitimer, or is it some sort of much older bracelet? If it's an older one, is it better to buy it, or will it detract from the value etc. of my watch?

Thanks in advance

Bnewbie is generally your man on bracelet codes, so maybe he's not seen this thread. Drop him a PM and I'm sure he'll come up with the goods!

It's genuine, but 424A is bracelet for Montbrillant 1461 and Twinsixty 2.
You need 442A or 431A.
423A is for Old Navi, Cosmo and Spatiographe.
Your knowledge about the date code is correct.
