I have a Breitling B Ref# of B13050 with case #107501. I am trying to find as much information about this watch as I can, but the ones I see do not have the blue leather band - shark skin I was once told, but not sure - with timer on the band like mine.

This was purchased in 1993 and has box and all papers and everything original you can see as far as I can tell - medallion, box, watch, pillow, credit card ID, 3 booklets. I only acquired it in 2002 roughly when my grandfather passed. it was bought for me, but never given to me as we had a falling out sadly. So, I am the only person who has worn it, and I have only worn it 2 times for a total of about 4 hours as it is just not "me" - and so it sat in the box unused for years until I got it, where it also sits in the box. So this watch is pristine, works perfect!

So, I am trying to seek current value, maybe some more information on this exact model and configuration I have. I do not know my intentions yet with this watch, but I figured I should learn a bit more about it before I decide what to do.

Thanks for the time/help. If you have questions, ask as I can give answers or post photos.

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

The watch is a first generation modern chronomat - detailed information here - http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=13334

The second watch is a UTC module that was sold separately and designed to show a separate time zone. eBay sold items will give you some idea of value of these pieces, add a few hundred for the UTC.

Unfortunately I do not see anything similar on eBay - current or close auctions.

Anyway, I do not see a reference for the gold karat for my year watch in that page. I see 18k yellow gold mentioned, but in later year watches. Any idea what karat gold mine contains?

Also, do you see anything that is missing? or is this as I assume and totally complete package.

The B in the model reference indicates 18kt gold rider tabs and 18k rolled gold pushers and crown.

Rolled gold is a 20 micron thick sheet of gold laminated over a steel base.

thanks.. I got the part about "B" in the document, but did not want to assume that it always meant 18k as it seems the karat references of 18k did not start until 94 and after. this clarifies it.

hello members... long time no see

so I am thinking I might go ahead and part with this, just not my style and frankly, do not think it will ever be.

So, if I were to search the web or ebay or google for something similar so I can find current value, would I just search "Breitling B13050" or would you recommend something different for search terms?

thanks for any advice.

That's what it is, so that's the best search. You can see some references here too - http://www.chrono24.com/en/search/index ... &x=43&y=16

Those are generally dealer asking prices, sale prices will be lower.
