I have been waiting 3 months now for a Squadron Aerospace (A-10) it should be here in mid March. I have to take it to my AD to get fitted and wanted to order a UTC for it will it fit? I also wanted to know if they come polished because I want to order one for a Emergency Mission, but did not want a brushed one.

As far as I know, the UTC modules need a special version of the bracelet as the standard bracelet is designed to fit into the case, not a UTC module.

With regards to the finish of the module, I think they are available in both brushed and poliched finishes (and in a variety of bracelet fitments - i.e. Pro II, Pilot, etc), so I am pretty sure you'll get one to match perfectly. (Between you and me though, they seem like a huge amount of money for what they are! )

Anyway, hope this helps.

Do you know about what the cost is? What do you think they add to a peice?

In the UK they are over a £1000 (so that's approx $2000) for the module alone. Obviously this is rip-off Britain prices, so you should be able to get it cheaper depending where you live.

In terms of what they add - do you mean aesthetically? If so, then they certainly add to the functional, pilot-style look. Personally I think they look best on the models that have the matching LCD display on the face - i.e. the Aerospace, the Airwolf and the B-1), as it seems to tie the whole look together a bit more than with the analogue display watches, but that's just a personal thing....

Just thought I'd add that I checked the Chronolog price list last night and these UTC modules (or Co-Pilot as they are called now) came in at between £1100 and £1400 depending on the model of watch they are for. And I think this includes the specific bracelet too. So for example in the UK you will be paying around £1000 more for a UTC on a pilot bracelet than you would for the standard pilot bracelet alone.

Wouldn't it simply be easier/cheaper to wear another watch on the other wrist? Nothing like variety...

i agree with driver8, they look good on the digital watches but i don't think they look good on other ones. I saw one on a SA recently and really wasn't that impressed with it.

I really want a UTC module for my Headwind. It would be a nice addition to the watch in my opinion. I've always been a fan of the UTC's.. the new Co-pilot module isn't as nice, though would be more functional.

I agree Admin - the old style UTC module with it's analogue dial would be much more suited to a Headwind, whereas the new Co-Pilots look great on the digital display models.
