Post subject:  Rapport Cube winder problem

Not a watch problem as such, so apologies if posting in the wrong section.
I have just bought a Rapport Cube watch winder (this model sits level and flat). I have rather thin wrists, and when the bracelet is strapped around the pad, the pad gets too squashed to grip the inside of the winder cylinder properly...the watch just falls out when the winder rotates. I have a Tag that just manages to hang on in there, but my two Breitlings are too heavy it seems.
Anyone else had a similar issue ? I've e-mailed Rapport, but I assume all their pads are the same size etc. Any bright ideas appreciated, thanks.

have you tried not closing the clasp entirely? like don't lock the clasp, just put it on the pillow as is

Hello Mr. Admin. Great site you have here. Yes I have...trouble is the clasps are too deep to fit into the winders cylinder when unfastened, the whole watch just hangs loose from the winder. Looking at the pad / pillow a little closer, it seems as though I have a badly shaped one...the foam insert is miss-shaped around the edge. Ive made another one roughly from some 1 1/2" foam and it works fine...I'll be asking Rapport for a new pad when I can contact them.

Update in case anyone is even remotely interested :)
I'm very impatient, so I cut a slit in the back of the felt pad, removed the foam pad (which was very miss-shapen) and inserted another pad I made from some slightly larger / stiffer foam. It works absolutely fine now.

Received three new pads yesterday, after a short and friendly exchange of e-mails. Free of charge, and all three do the job. I'm impressed with their customer service, and I'm a happy bunny.
