Post subject: | Need help w/ Navitimer Slide Rule. |
Hello every one.... I am buying my 1st Breitling and I have it narrowed down to the Navitimer or the Navitimer World. The thing I cannot find out what the different slide rule on the Navitimer is for. Its on the fixed wheel, clockwise; 1000M all the way around to BASE. On the world this is replaced with the 2 thru 24 hr marks. Can anyone tell me for what calculation the 1000m thru BASE is used for. I am lost. ![]() Thank you, preben |

It's tachymetre, for speed calculating. When you see how many seconds do you need for traveling 1km, just look on the dial and read your speed in km/h. |

Spend the extra money and go with tha Navi-World. The Navitimer is too small to read, and looks very small on the wrist. ~Brian |
