Hi Everyone, Can anyone give me some advise on my first Ling purchase
which was from an AD? My Evo had to be brought in by my AD, now, its been a month and as yet i have not recieved the box or papers for it,

the AD has said Breitling are busy due to the time of year,
is this normal or should everything have come along with the watch in the first place?

Thanks in advance WL

Hmmmmm something sounds fishy, when you purchase your Ling, your suppose to receive your Box & Papers immediately with the purchase. Unless it was stipulated that the purchase would not include the box and papers, or the establishment you purchased your Ling from was a legitimate business, but not an authorized Breitling dealer.

I've never heard of a Breitling being delivered to an AD without the whole package - at least not a new one.

To the best of my knowledge the watch is delivered to the distributor as a package (watch / boxes / papers) and should stay that way. The only reason for opening the package is for the AD to stamp the warranty card.

Never got a watch without warranty or box. Only thing, that can happen: Watch without description, when the watch is brandnew. Happend this year with the Flying B Chronograph. Received the watch in June, and still have no description yet.

Check, if the AD You bought it from is a real Breitling AD (on the website). Post some detailed shots of the watch please. To make sure, its a real one.

Thanks to everyone who replied on this topic, you were a great help,
Box and papers, got them today, BRAVO.. Something to do with the Ling
having to be brought in for me to have a look at incase they had to send it back to Breitling.

If i here anymore on this i will let you know, this may be standard procedure for Breitling to do this sort of thing.

AD is an Authorised Breitling Retailer

Sorry no Pics as yet .WL.

I know it's an old thread, but figured I could chip in! In some (very uncommon) cases Breitling will send out models to stores free of charge for customers to see. The store does not pay for these unless bought by the customer and doesn't always send papers with the watch. Once you bought it, the store will have paid for it and papers will have followed as a result. :)
