Greetings! Many thanks for the forum & related resources for Breitling timepieces.

My dear Bill gave me a Callistino (B72345) with the Rouleaux bracelet, diamond bezel, blue mother of pearl face for Christmas in 2003. He had collected 4 Breitlings by the time of his death in early 2007 all of which were purchased in Fort Worth Texas at Village Jewelers. In 2006 my battery needed replaced so naturally he took back to the place of purchase for their attention. They sent it to Houston and I waited for months to wear my precious beauty again. I remember the price of service was $250 USD. My watch came back sparkling & all new again.

Well I'm not sure I want to be without my watch that long for this next service. The way its acting I'm sure the time has come for a new battery. I've looked for a local service and found only one in my area. Would someone have knowledge of the reputability &/or expertise of BestFix Watch Co. in Denton Texas? Your replies are very much appreciated. Any information will be helpful so if alternative suggestions are offered I will be grateful.

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

I can't speak to the quality of BestFix, but I can tell you this......

Breitling won't provide parts to non authorised service centres. That means that BestFix have to use aftermarket parts rather than Breitling parts. If this is a simple battery change then that's not likely a problem, but if it turns out that the watch needs a service (which Breitling would do as a matter of course) then you will end up with non authorised parts in the watch.

That seems reasonable. How does one find an authorized service center in a particular area?

Thank you for the guidance.

They are listed on www.breitling.com

Looks like in the US now they only have listings for CA, CT, FL, NY and PA.

That likely means that your retailer will have to send it away for service.
