Hi there, its been a while since Ive had a Breitling - well, few months actually, now Im in the market for a new one. Preferably the SO. The AD's prices are a bit out of my range, and Im living in New Jersey, SO I have my eye on either of these.

or

Is this the latest SO model, it looks like its the polished Pro II bracelet and at $2000 or thereabouts the price seems about right for me.

Any advice on which one to go for would be greatly appreciated. It appears both are trusted dealers, and both ship overnight.

Many thanks in advance.

It's the latest model of SO and it comes fully polished, including the bracelet.

No problem.

Also remember that, depending on your powers of negotiation, you should be able to get a reasonable discount from an AD. Although you may still end up paying a bit more than you would buying online, the premium is worth peace of mind.

Ive just spoken with George at Govberg and will be picking up my SuperOcean next week, I was torn between the blue and coral dial, but Ive gone for the blue, with coral as 1st reserve.

For peace of mind, Ive gone with Govberg as spending a couple thousand bucks - to throw in a few uncertainties is really not what Im looking for. There may be a chance that all would be well with those 2 sites, but its a chance Im now not willing to take and with that I'll be taking the trip down to PA to pick it up in person and have the satisfaction that its from an AD - with excellent customer service.

Id like to say a big thank you to Justin for the details and to Peter for the deeper insight inthe the world of buying online!!

cheers

rich

I'm glad to hear things have worked out for you Rich :D

Don't forget to post a pic of your SuperOcean when you've got it.
