Good morning folks,
I recently purchased a Windrider Crosswind and did not receive an owners manual with it. How do I get an automatic started and how long does the watch run when not on my wrist? thank you for your courtesy. Bryan

Unscrew the crown - wind it 'backwards' (anti clockwise) until it pops out. From that position wind it forwards (clockwise) approximately 40 turns to give it a full wind. You can't overwind an automatic so don't worry about overdoing it. A well serviced watch should last about 42 hours on a full wind and if you wear it as a daily wearer then it shouldn't ever need winding.

Once fully wound push the crown in and hold it while turning forward to screw down the crown again.

If the watch is approaching a need for service then the power reserve may be reduced.

As always you have been very informative and I greatly appreciate your description of what I have to do. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. By the way I grew up just down the road in Buffalo. Thanks again. Regards, Bryan
