I am currently looking at buying a bracelet for my old navitimer ii. However, i am uncertain as to what the difference is between the bracelets with a square shaped clasp and the one with the rounded clip which attaches the clasp together. Is one better than the other or is it simply a styling point.
ANY help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by "the one with the rounded clip which attaches the clasp together". If you can find a picture of what you mean on the net it'd help greatly.

Thanks for the response. These 2 links show the bracelet with the rounded bit as oppsed to the square one.
Thanks again

The ONII bracelet was discussed a few weeks ago here...

http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11202&p=89340&hilit=old+navitimer+ii#p89340

From reading BN's comments, I don't think you can have a "square" clasp on the ONII as the lugs are a different size.

Ah ha, I see what you're getting now. :) This and the newer style of clasp both serve exactly the same function and it's literally just a styling difference.

Thanks a lot for your help. So which design is more recent, the square clasp or the rounded one like in the links? It appears as though the more square shaped is more popular? thanks

Square is newer, but as the others have said, the newer bracelet probably won't fit. It's the end links on the bracelet that you have to worry about and you may struggle to get a newer bracelet to fit the lugs on the ONII

If the old style Navi bracelet was intended for Old Navi (and it was) it should fit instead of 423A, if they didn't change shape of the case.
Note that not any old style Navi bracelet will fit on the Old Navi, same like with new style ones.
