Gday,
I cam across this watch well at a flea market along with some other old treasures i am not sure if this is anything fancy but thought i would drop a line in here and see if you guys can help me .

Markings on the watch say
Front Face

Breitling navitimer
colt Oceane
500m/1650ft

Back face
Cromographe navitimer certifie chronometre
manafactured en suisse teste 3bars
Breitling 1884
A41322

(The band )
Black leather
stamped Breitling

If that were the exact markings, you have a fake.

The model number is indeed a Navitimer, a 50th Anniversary Navitimer, but there's no reason at all why to put another model name on the dial (ie Colt Oceane). And, a Navitimer is not safe to 500m of water pressure, more like 30m.

As aleister said, if that are exact markings, it's a fake.

Thansk guys i did thin k it was a fake..
but still wanted to make sure
i did try down load pics but said file to big and i am not that computer savvy .
will have to get my son to resize pics for me tommorow after school
so what are fakes worth then do you know?
Ipaid $20 for a bag of pretty old dress jewelry and a few gold rings and a pair of earings gold all marked
so i thhink i did well considering i had no idea what i was really buying as every thing was all tangled together

Think i want a real one now they are beautiful watches. wishful thinking though!

Here's a super simple pic resizer if you like. Reduce to 75%, save to your computer, hit browse in the post a reply window, add file and presto!
