Hey all, what does it mean when while adjusting the minute hand (with the crown pulled all the way out) the second hand moves ever so slightly at the beginning of the turn? Just wondering if this is a problem? I noticed it from one of my breitlings and tried it on another one and it the second hand didn't move at all. What do you folks think?

Also...how long should the power reserve be on a caliber 17 or B17 movement....i know they say 42 hrs. but is that realistic? If your only getting about 20 hrs is that a problem?

Thanks.

You should get 42+ hours of power reserve from a FULLY would watch, no less. Wind the crown 40 times or so to make sure it is fully wound before you start counting.

Dunno about the second hand shift.

+1

Is it a chronograph? Are you using the chronograph features? That will also cause a loss of power.
