Post subject:  WATCH WINDER ACCURACY

When you set your Programmable watch winder to 650 tpd bw,how can you be sure the winder is only going to turn 650 times.I have turned the winders for my Cockpit and Chronomat down to 450tpd bw and 450tpd clockwise, respectively, and two weeks later they both are still running with no time lost.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can count the turns per day without manually counting them .

I think you're just going to have to trust the manufacturers specification on this one!

Bear in mind it's impossible to over-wind an automatic watch, so a faster revolution will just mean that the watch constantly fully wound. As long as it has a rest period in the cycle, or you periodcally let it run down a bit, then there shouldn't be a problem.
