Post subject:  Pilot Braclet question

Hi there, I have an original design Blackbird. I need to adjust the strap by taking a link out. The problem I have is that when you turn the screws in the links, the pins on the other side of the link (that I thought should be fixed into the link) are turning within the link, thus not allowing me to unscrew them. Has anyone come across this in the past and what can I do (other than visit my local dealer)?

Thanks

Sounds like the threadlock is holding a little too tight. You can try tightening the screw tightly to break the threadlock before undoing, otherwise I would be going to he AD.

thanks for that, I suspected the same. However the thing turns in both directions so I really need something to hold the pin still while I turn the screw, difficult when its flush with the link!
I'm going to the local dealer tomorrow anyway for something else, I'll hand it to them to sort out!

...got it sorted, as you suggested, the threadlock was just a little stubborn.
