Hi there, I have an original design Blackbird. I need to adjust the strap by taking a link out. The problem I have is that when you turn the screws in the links, the pins on the other side of the link (that I thought should be fixed into the link) are turning within the link, thus not allowing me to unscrew them. Has anyone come across this in the past and what can I do (other than visit my local dealer)? Thanks |

Sounds like the threadlock is holding a little too tight. You can try tightening the screw tightly to break the threadlock before undoing, otherwise I would be going to he AD. |

thanks for that, I suspected the same. However the thing turns in both directions so I really need something to hold the pin still while I turn the screw, difficult when its flush with the link! I'm going to the local dealer tomorrow anyway for something else, I'll hand it to them to sort out! |

...got it sorted, as you suggested, the threadlock was just a little stubborn. |
