The words OEM Breitling strap means that it's a strap made by Breitling. Just as an OEM Rolex strap is a strap that's made by Rolex. OEM is just a generic acronym signifying that it was made by the company it's attributed to.

Thanks for that but what if it's just said to be a OEM strap. Sorry don't mean to be simple

Not sure how else to explain it. I'm guessing you are looking at a Breitling strap, and if it is described as OEM it means it is a genuine product by Breitling. It doesn't have to say "OEM Breitling strap" in one sentence. If it's described as a Breitling strap and then says elsewhere in the description that it's OEM, it's saying it's genuine. OEM is not a company or anything, it's just a way of saying it's genuine.

There's nothing stupid at all about asking a question. If we don't ask questions we never learn anything.

As the old chinese saying goes, "If a man asks a question, he may look stupid once. If a man doesn't ask a question, he may look stupid forever".

Maybe the definition will help:

OEM = original equipment manufacturer

Just what it says, a part (or strap) made by the person who made the thing that it goes with.
