HI IV SEEN STRAPS SAID TO BE OEM AND OTHERS SAID TO BE GENUINE BREITLING.OEM (ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER)IS THAT THE COMPANY WHERE BREITLING GET THERE STRAPS FROM OR JUST STRAPS MADE TO A BREITLING STANDARD? IF ANYONE COULD SHINE SOME LIGHT IT WOULD HELP ME FROM LOOKING STUPID IN THE BUY/SELL/TRADE FORUM THANKS ALL :bow:

I'm guessing you are looking at a Breitling strap, and if it is described as OEM it means it is a genuine product by Breitling. It doesn't have to say "OEM Breitling strap" in one sentence. If it's described as a Breitling strap and then says elsewhere in the description that it's OEM, it's saying it's genuine. OEM is not a company or anything, it's just a way of saying it's genuine.

Maybe the definition will help: OEM = original equipment manufacturer Just what it says, a part (or strap) made by the person who made the thing that it goes with.
