Post subject:  Purchasing a Navitimer World and need help

Hello everyone, long time reader first time poster.

After eight months debating which B-ling to buy I have decided for a Navitimer World with a silky white face.

I ordered from the AD in Kuwait City for about a 24% discount from "MSRP" and I'm going to get it this weekend, but before paying for this fine time piece I want to ask a few questions about the quality and workmanship of this watch.

Have any of you had problems/ flaws with the Navi World? In specific the second time zone and the chronograph and face/ num aligments. I have read in previous post about the problems but the poster were not specific and did not follow up with the the topic.

Any good/ bad experiences with the Navi World would be appreciated, since I want to make sure and getting what I paid for and not something substandard for the $$$ I'll be spending.

Thank...

i believe a couple of the members here have the navi world, and both have problems with the GMT hand. i think the problems were slightly different, but it wasn't working properly for either of them.

i'm also interested in getting the navi world, and asked one of my a/ds about it here in korea. he said he hasn't heard of any complaints like that, but i don't know if he was fibbing or if they just don't sell enough worlds here for it to be an issue.

Jason thanks for your reply.

I read in a different posting about some of the problems with the GMT time zone and number not being aligned.

Are those problem specific to older models or are the new models having the same problems?

I will hate to spend the money on this particular model when they are so many B- Lings to choose from that are more reliable.

Yes, I've had a few issues with my Navi-World's second timezone getting hung up at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. Nothing major, I'm sure it's an easy fix.

I love my watch, I get compliments more with it than my Rolex and Fortis.

Just be sure to check it out before purchasing.

Good luck!

Thank you all for the information posted.

It seems to me that the only problem with the Navi- World is with the second timezone not working as advertise, and since I've been hooked with the watch for a long time now I bought it last Saturday. :D

I've been pretty busy at work and have not had time to play with it yet but the second timezome seems to be working so far.

I will post pictures in a few days.

Thanks again.

Only just noticed this thread! Bit late now as fwpilot has already bought a his, but I have not had any problems at all with my World. The GMT hand has always been fine. I absolutely love the watch!

Hope you have no problems with yours.
