I have a Colt A74350 with a new battery. Whenever I'm not wearing the watch the second hand starts incrementing every 4 seconds -- according to my manual that is the normal low battery indication. However, when I start wearing the watch the second hand starts incrementing every second again. It keeps perfect time. Is this behavior normal or should I get another battery and try again?

It could be a problem with the movement - did you get it serviced or just the battery? Could also be the wrong battery if it wasn't from an AD. Either way, get it checked.

I had this happen with Karen's B.

Pretty sure it is a low battery indication so a return to AD I would think.
