The watch stopped ticking. Usually I would just shake it a bit and it would continue working, but this time nothing. I am not familiar with the manual winding procedure, and I have no user manual. The second hand stopped exactly at the 24. I don't know if this is useful info or not. I'm worried its broken or something. I did try winding the crown clockwise, and counter clockwise. I hope this hasn't wrecked it. I'm also wondering if it can be over wound. I don't want to mess with it so I would like to know the exact proper steps to take to wind it manually. Thank you in advance.

Automatic watches can't be overwound so your doing nothing wrong there.

Sounds like you've done everything you can, how many turns clockwise did you do? Usually takes between 40-50 for a full wind.

Other than that mate, it's off to Breitling as it seems faulty.

You said that the second hand is stopped exactly at the 24. That's the chronograph second hand that you are looking at, which will only run when you turn on the chronograph function (pushing the top push button once to start the chronograph).

The "regular" second hand (ie, the one that will run contuniously when the watch is wound) is the small subdial located at the 9 o'clock position.

Below are instructions for the Navi World:

Crown position 1 (normal position) - Wind the watch by 40 clockwise turns of the crown.

Pull the crown out to position 2 - Turn it clockwise to adjust the calendar. Rotate counterclockwise to set the second hour hand.

Pull the crown out to position 3 - Adjust the hour and minute.

Top push button - Push to start/stop the chronograph.
Bottom push button - After the chronograph function has been stopped, push to reset the chronograph back to zero.

Thanks for the instruction Breitling Fanatic, these are exactly what I was looking for. I did everything you said and it still isn't ticking. To avoid screwing up the gears inside, I'm going to take it to the dealership our here to see what I'm doing wrong or what needs to be done. I'll post the results.
