Hey Breiltling Believers, In 1984 it was Breitlings 100th anniversary. 1984 is also the year I was born. Maybe someone knows breitling has made a special model for his 100th anniversary? I wanna have a breitling made in 1984 and if there’s no special, I think I want a navitimer… Can someone give me more information abouw the models made in 1984? |

The problem with this period is that there isn't a reliable way to date individual pieces as they didn't have date codes and serial numbers were non sequential. The big 1984 launch was the modern day Chronomat, and there were some first year specials, but I can't recall them off the top of my head. As a reasonably good idea of what was available, BreitlingSource has a catalogue from 1985 - minor differences but a generally good idea of the models available - http://www.breitlingsource.com/books_1985.shtml |
