Hi guys,

I have a Breitling Evolution on leather which is great but I would like to get me a bracelet for the summer season.
I see many bracelets on the Bay but many times the descriptions are not clear to me.
I know the original would be a pilot bracelet but are there any other bracelets in the Breitling collection that might fit on the Evolution like i.e. a Navitimer bracelet providing the lugwidth is the same?

All info appreciated.
Thanx

Well, the 970a Pilot Bracelet would fit obviously, since it is the one that was made for it. I haven't tryied the bracelet for the Headwind/Crosswind on the Evolution, even tho I have one. It is nice bracelet too, but is not the same, even tho it is a 22mm lug width Pilot. The Clasp is narrower, tapering to 18mm while the Evo's clasp tapers to only 20mm.

They may fit at the lug, however I'd recommend the 970a.

The Navitimer bracelet might fit if you get one that swivels freely at the lugs like the one for the Chronomatic. I could tell you if that one would fit, but it would not look good in my opinion.

Just a question.. why do you not want to buy the correct bracelet for your watch?

Only bracelet that really fits that watch is the pilot.

Making a speed bracelet fit is tough work, but theoretically possible, if You have a good workshop available. Navitimerbracelet will not fit at all.

I just got my SS Red Chronomat Evolution after holding out for a while. I love this watch, I can't seem to find an equal anywhere to compare with the pilots bracelet. Trying to put something other than a Pilot on seems to be sacrilage. I will be interested to see how the red face matches the black leather strap I have on my Seawolf, I'm too afraid of scratching the bracelet for the time being so that will wait.
