I have a 1 year old Navitimer that I bought new from an AD in 2008. I accidentally went swimming with it in my pool and now there is moisture under the crystal. I am so upset about this. What should I do?

Welcome aboard.
Go to your AD straight away, it needs service.

And simply for the sake of emphasis, when bnewbie says "straight away" he means "STRAIGHT AWAY"

It's potentially got water in the movement too in which case it is rusting as you read this.

Thanks. I'm headed to my AD, first thing in the morning. I'm really shocked that it got water inside. It was not under water for long.

Sorry fella' the Navimeter is not known for its water resistance. I fear buying one just because of how much I sweat in the summer.

The moisture is gone today. So, it was only there for about a day. What do you think?

I'm still going to go to my AD and get their opinion.

I think it needs some very careful AD attention. Moisture could still be there, just not enough of a temperature difference for condensation.

This happened to my Navitimer, too. I didn't go swimming with it, but I did get some moisture under the crystal (luckily, it was still under warranty!!) so I sent it to Breitling and had it fixed.

You should have it serviced quickly!

If it's any consolation, my Avenger Skyland rated to 1000ft did this when worn in a swimming pool to a depth of 3 feet, it was brand new and only 1 month old!
