Has anyone else found it extremely tough to open the clasp on the Pro II bracelet.
I have a Colt Automatic GMT on the SS Pro II Bracelet and have killed the nails on my thumb attempting to open the clasp...
any suggestions anyone?
I've been using a dime which has solved the problem but i don't always have a dime on me...
Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm so sorry for posting this in the wrong section... if a moderator wants to delete it go ahead.

I have a couple of Pro ll's and have never had any difficulty opening them.
Certainly I have never had the kind of difficulty that would require the use of a "tool" such as a dime to open it.
It makes me wonder if it might be bent or in some way defective.
Do you have any difficulty closing it?

I just cut my nails yesterday, before that it's never had problems.
It closes just fine and with a "tool" it just pops open easily.

Are you talking about the foldover security part of the clasp or the main clasp? If you are talking about the main clasp, a lot of people mistakenly try and open it from the inside (the side that is closer to the hinge of the foldover security clasp) as that is how most are opened, however Breitling clasps prefer to be opened from the other side, which is somewhat counter-intuitive, but there is more space to insert your finger to open the clasp. Just lift, and it pops open.

Number one, your ad should have shown you how to open and close the clasp. You dont open it like other clasps. Flip the lock, grasp the sides of the clasp and lift up. That is all there is too it. :poke:
