Hello all, I just noticed that when I shake my Headwind Windrider, it sort of pulses. It seems like the bits inside that spin (presumably to generate energy) have come a little loose or need some lubrication. I'm pretty certain that this hasn't always been the case (i've had the watch for several years now and hadn't noticed it before). This has become so appearant that I can 'feel' it vibrate against the backplate if i flick my wrist. Has anyone else experienced this and is this something I need to address by taking it to an authorized repair shop? If so, any suggestions on repair places in Seattle, WA? Thanks, TJS |

Thanks, TJS It sounds to me like it's just the winding rotor spinning normally. Could it be that you just didn't notice it before? How is the timekeeping? If teh timekeeping is off, then that is usually the first sign of something untoward going on inside. I'd suggest just dropping by your nearest Breitling AD for an opinion. They will very quickly be able to say if it's normal or a problem. |

The timekeeping seems to be fine. How long should one measure it determine whether it's off? It's possible that I simply didn't notice it before.... unusual though. Oh well, thanks for the info. It's a great watch btw. ![]() |
