Hi guys,

I am a new Breitling owner. I purchased a Navitimer world a month or so ago and I have had a hard time setting the second time zone on the watch. I set the watch to the time in my area (Los Angeles) and then set it to a timezone such as Beijing and it doesnt seem to hold. After 6 or seven hours the second timezone slips. Is there some special way to set this. The instructions werent much help.

Thanks!

Todd

To be honest the manual is your best bet for this, but failing that you can ask your AD for a demo. HOWEVER, and much as I hate to say it, the Navi World has been known to experience problems with the GMT hand from time to time. I've owned 2 Navi Worlds (still got one now) and I've never had any problems at all, but I can think of at least 2 other guys on here who have had problems with it. I suggest a quick trip to your AD is the best bet. He can advise on the correct way of setting it, and can also look to get it fixed if there is a problem. If you bought it new from an AD it will still be under warranty so any repairs will be free of charge.

Hi Todd,

Do you have similar problems as I did?

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5467

Mine is still not OK but I don't care any more. It took a couple of weeks to get it every time I returned the watch to my AD. I prefer to wear the watch instead of having it on service. It was more of a principle to have it spot on (based on what you are paying for the watch) than it being a problem. I hope the thread helps you.

/AJ
