I guess they ask for your credit card before they winch you up to safety?
:D :D :D :D

If I was BUSA  I'd service the watch but not return it unless thee ownership documentation was updated.
The new owner would be keen to do that to get their watch back and all paperwork would be up to date.

My emergency mission has been serviced twice without change of ownership? Not to throw a spanner in the works. 1st time routine and second time because it stopped after 6 months. Mine goes to switzerland ?

I presumed that the watch gets sent there with the booklet and a tracking number. I wouldn't have thought that the service center record anything but the serial number?

Cheers.
Jeremy.

sounds like to me that it is way to much hassle to buy second hand. Its all your favor to buy new. First its brand new. Dial colour, strap choice up to you and superquartz. Not to mention all your official paperwork will be 100% in order as a AD purchase. I know what route I would be going down and just to be clear, not the secondhand way. Regards from Ireland.
