Watches don't come with 'extra' oil. If you say that it can't be contamination from outside then it must have come from inside the case or be some kind of broken down seal that looked like oil - either way that would cause me to get it seen to - it could be a lot more expensive if the watch is running with insufficient lubrication or with failed seals.

AD insists that it is not urgent to service it now since everything looks normal and there are no more leaks. Risky?

Your watch, your decision.

Either the watch was contaminated by a foreign object, which you say isn't possible, or something that was considered necessary by the watchmaker that assembled the watch is now no longer present.

Got your point and I do not disagree. Thanks Roff.

On thing really surprised me recently and that was that I was using my bezel on my 2011 SF for timing while wearing a black long sleeved top. It was in traffic and I turned it when it was over the black of the top. I was really taken back as I turned it to see that amount of Gunk and Dirt that was falling onto the dark surface. I continued to turn to be amazed by the amount of S**T that fell out. I BABY my watches and ware them in rotation, clean regularly etc..

I bet if any one places a black peice of paper on a flat surface and turns their bezel over it they will be surprized with the amount of gunk that fall out, I know I was!

Either way maybe it was something similar that happen to you and that had build up unknown.

Hopefully it will not happen again!

Good luck with it.

Thanks, I haven't thought of that. That might explain external contamination. But since I "un" stuck the pusher everything is fine. But Roff is also right, if it was oil, then it is a quantity missing from the caliber for proper lubrication.
