You got it free, will cost $1000~ to fix and is worth roughly $2000 in good running order and condition complete. Your's will not be complete, but you are likely to net $500 on the sale I would wager.

True, so fixing it makes complete sense. Then if I ever want to sell it, I make a good profit on it.
