Hi.
Does any of you know what the price level in France is like? I will be travelling to Montpellier on business in a couple of weeks, and I am looking for a black dial Superocean. I expect (and hope) that the prices in France will be lower than in Denmark.

I will also be stopping over in the CHARLES DE GAULLE airport for three hours, and maybe the Superocean would be worth looking for there?

Best regards :)

/Peter

I wouldnt really expect the price to be much different in France since it is still within the EU. If you buy it in Switzerland you may save yourself the VAT. Provided customs in Denmark doesnt catch you....

Specially if you are going to buy it at the airport, I think their AD prices would be regulated by Breitling.

Hi indy73,

I was in Paris last year, and got the pricelist for 2007/2008 for France.
Superocean with Pro II bracelet has a retailprice = EUR 2.025,-

My advice:
- contact all the retailers in Montpellier before you travel and get some offers.
There you'll find the retailers in Montpellier: http://www.breitling.com/en/retailers/r ... lier_0-417

You'll not find any retailers at Charles de Gaulle .... This is a boring airport, bring a good book and your MP3 player.

there is an ad in charles de gaul, I was just there last weekend but they have like 3 or 4 terminals and i was in G2. The sales people there knew nothing about Breitling or any other watch for that matter.

Thanks guys,
I just had a look the other day after work and saw a price tag of €2145, and this was for the 2007 dial version, but with pointed seconds hand. Sort of a strange combo if you ask me. I would have liked to have the old style dial with lume on all numbers + the new arrow pointed hands style - apparently this is called a Franken Watch :o . I asked my nearest dealer back in Denmark if he could match the price, and he would, at around €2010 (15% off).

I am however a bit conflicted since I think I can push for a discount here in Montpellier and maybe on saturday try bidding approx. €1800. This would be quite a bit cheaper than in Denmark. But compared to a 3 year guarantee and a place to ask questions about this and that...????

Best regards,
Peter, Sunny Montpellier 8)
