Hello folks.

Just purchased a Breitling Bentley GT the other day and I have been experimenting with the bracelet length. Unfortunately, it looks as if I'm stuck between either the bracelet being too long or too short. At first, I went with a looser setting because it felt comfortable. The problem was that the watch was TOO loose (you could rotate the watch around the wrist if you wanted to). So I removed one link but then found that the bracelet is now too tight and the fit is uncomfortable.

What are my options at this point? Is it possible to purchase a single Link of a slightly differnet size? If not, do I go with comfortable and loose?

Any information will be greatly appreciated. I will also try calling some AD's to see what they have to say but, I thought I'd post here to see if I can get any info.

Thanks a bunch!

Oh and I apologize if this question has been asked a bunch of times in the past! I used the search option here and didn't find anything but, I could just be inept!

Did you use micro adjustment holes on the clasp?

Hmm micro adjustment holes on the clasp!? I'll have to look into it because I didn't even know about this! I'll take it into the store tomorrow and see if they can adjust it. You may have just solved this dillema for me. Thank you!!

There are four holes for a fine adjustment on the side of the clasp.

Ok. I'm taking a look at it right now. I think I see what you are talking about but, it is a bit difficult without pictures. I'm sure that the shop knows about this.

thank you so much for the tip!!

:yeahthat The newer Bentley models have the much nicer and cleaner hidden micro-adjustment on the clasp. It's an easy DIY job to amend, so shouldn't need a trip to an AD.

Thanks for all of the help guys. I went to the store, added a link AND made an adjustment on the clasp. Now I've got it just where I want it!

I had no idea you could make these adjustments on your own. I was wondering what the arrows underneath the clasp were. Now I know.

Thanks again everyone!

Didn't see it. It would be great if someone could snap a few shots.

OK, so here are some pics of the adjustments you can make on the clasp itself. You basically have two settings to play with. No tools necessary at all. The arrows you see indicate which setting you are currently using. Hope this helps!
