Guys: am new to this forum. trying to surprise my dad and get him a Breitling watch. He told me about one that has a clear back so you can see the movement?

Does anyone know which stainless steel band-Breitling watch models have a transparent (see through back)? If you know and can include a link to which have them with their name, I'd be eternally grateful. 8) :uplaugh:

I don't think Breitling currently makes a model with a see-thru back although I could be mistaken. There are a lot of folks on this site who are very knowledgable so you may get a different and better answer but just wanted to make you aware that previous see-thru model listings can be found in the FAQ section on this site. Hope this points you in the right direction. Best of luck!

I'm not at the home right now and from the top of the head remember just...
Chronoracer Rattrapante,
Navi Patrouille Agile LE,
Cosmonaute DB,
Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon.

You missed only Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon which is in production.
Others that I have listed are no longer in the production.
Just saw your point to FAQ and realized that I forgot some of them and renamed Patrouille de France into Patrouille Agile.

AFAIK, the only display back model which can currently be bought new from a dealer is the Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon.

I hope you've been saving up because the prices are as follows:-
Yellow gold = $169,500
Rose gold = $169,500
White gold = $183,600
Platinum = $234,000

Prices correct as of November 2008.

The Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon is a beautiful watch....however, the price forces me to have to wait until I hit it big on the Black Jack Table at the casino or the wife hits the jackpot on the $1 and $5 slot machines....

The Mulliner Tourbillon has never done it for me actually. Give me the Mulliner Perpetual any day of the week. And it's more "reasonably" priced too! :D No display back though.

no consensus needed, The Mulliner Tourbillon IS the only Breilting currently being manufactured with a display back.. and are they ever pround of it! Of course I wouldnt be surprised if after Basel, there might be a limited edition witha DB to mark the 125th anniversary.
